Schlitterbahn Galveston - Sep 15,2007

Tang family and Vines family had a great time at Schlitterbahn Galveston. We were lucky enough to pay only $15 per ticket. The usual price for one day entry is $35.

Atticus loved Cantalope a lot. We offered him some peaches but he didn't like them. He is sooooo picky...

Logan's Potty Training

Logan is wearing big boy pants now (i.e. underwear). Logan started going to the potty when he turned 2 years old. But like most people, change is tough, and Logan has slowly adjusted to letting Mommy and Daddy know when he has to use the bathroom. Logan is doing well now, of course he still has his accidents, but he is telling us that he has to pee-pee, and can hold his pee-pee until we get him to a potty. The transition for using the potty for pooping is tougher but Logan has done the deed on occasion. Still a ways to go, but getting better since Logan started to wear underwear.

Logan is trying to keep up with his best friend, Lily. She is a real pro, pedaling right away after getting on the bike. Logan liked for Daddy to push him fast - he digs the speed.

As you can see, Logan loves lemonade. What can I say - Logan knows how to enjoy life, sippin' on some lemonade and lazily drifting in a tube on the lazy river at the Hyatt Hotel Resort.

Atticus just started solid food.

About a week ago, Atticus started to show signs of interest. He moved his mouth every time he saw us eating at the dinner table. That was how we decided to start feeding hime solid food. At first, he rejected anything other than milk. I guess he didn't know how to swallow food. Right now, he is doing better. He can finish the whole "Mum Mum cookie". He loves sweet fruits like cantaloupes and mangoes. Please enjoy the video I took.

The Wiggles Show - Houston, TX 8/26/07

John and I took Logan to his first concert - The Wiggles show. Are we nuts? I think we are among those spoiled parents in the world. In Asia, we always refer them as "24 filial parents". I can't believed I am one of them. It was fun to see Logan's reactions during the show. Logan was excited and exhausted during the whole show. He was excited because of the characters and songs during the show and exhausted because he skipped his nap. Here are a few things he did during the show:

1) He clapped his hands a few times.

2) He claimed "the big red car" was his and said" it's mine".

3) At the end of the show, he said I want to see The Wiggles.

4) He smiled a few times during the show.

Overall, we had a good time. We enjoyed the show and had a good time with Niewenhous family.
